Full Journal pdf2007-05-16 House Journal Page 1438 HB 184 Messages dated May 16, 2007, were read stating the Senate failed to recede from its amendment to: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 184(FIN) "An Act relating to a commemorative troops license plate and to license plates available to disabled veterans; relating to mandatory motor vehicle insurance, license suspensions, mandatory impoundments of vehicles used in certain offenses, and notices relating to motor vehicles and driver's licenses; relating to registration of vehicles for disabled persons; and providing for an effective date." namely: 2007-05-16 House Journal Page 1439 SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 184(FIN) "An Act relating to a commemorative troops license plate; relating to registration of vehicles for disabled persons; relating to the anatomical gift awareness fund; and providing for an effective date." (SCR 7 - title change resolution) The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the House to consider the bills: Senator McGuire, Chair Senator Huggins Senator Wagoner HB 184 Representative Roses moved that the House rescind previous action in failing to adopt (page 1419): SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 184(FIN) "An Act relating to a commemorative troops license plate; relating to registration of vehicles for disabled persons; relating to the anatomical gift awareness fund; and providing for an effective date." The question being: "Shall the House rescind previous action in failing to adopt SCS CSHB 184(FIN)?" The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 184(FIN)?" Representative Samuels moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The Chief Clerk notified the Senate. SCS CSHB 184(FIN) was referred to the Chief Clerk for enrollment.
